Tunisian President bestows national honour on GMH Chairman in recognition of his business ventures in the North African nation

Tunis – October 1996

In October 1996, The President of the Tunisian Republic, His Excellency Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, invested and decreed the Chairman of General Mediterranean Holding, Mr Nadhmi Auchi as an Officer of the Order of the Republic in recognition of his extensive business activities in the country.  The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Tunis.
