The National Cedar Decoration

Beirut - 2000

The "National Cedar Decoration", which has the ranking of "Commander", is the highest award given by the Lebanese President.

In recognition of his solidarity and support for the People of Lebanon, in a ceremony held on Friday 14th December 2000 at the Presidential Palace, President Emil Lahoud presented this unique decoration to the Chairman of GMH, Nadhmi Auchi.

Lebanese Prime Minister visits our project in Beirut

Beirut - July 2000

H.E Salim Al-Houss, Ministers & MP's paid a visit to the Group's project Sinbad's World construction site on 1st July 2000.

The delegation was welcomed by the Group Chairman Mr Nadhmi Auchi and members of staff of the Group's subsidiaries Leisure Hill s.a.l and Soludec Liban, followed by lunch at the Group's Suite Hotel "Residence de France".
